Junctional SVT, is there a procedure to fix this? I have been searching for months for a procedure to fix this so that the patient will no longer have junctional SVT. Doctors said they can't fix it because it's at the junction. I need to find a solution.

I had an EKG in the ER yesterday (among other things). The Troponin I results said Anteroseptal Infarct, non-specific age. I had no idea til I looked it all up that I had a heart attack god-knows-when and had no idea. I am floored. Thank you for the info!

Sinus rhythm denotes the rhythm itself is normal. We can clearly see this rhythm wouldn't qualify as "normal" given how there are multiple p waves present. If the ventricular rate is in the 40's as you indicate. How is 'Sinus Tachycardia' even being thrown into the equation? If this were legit Tachycardia, it's highly unlikely an honest Mobitz type II would be this clear, and it's just as unlikely it'd be that fast. Possible? Certainly, anything is possible, but in a 20 year old male who you said is healthy, extremely unlikely. It's difficult to distinguish between Sinus Tachycardia, and Atrial Tachycardia? It's not hard at all; in Sinus Tachycardia you'd clearly see one to one p waves, and QRS Complexes. If you have more than one p wave then it doesn't fit the definition of sinus. The argument for Atrial Tachycardia is valid, and most likely the rhythm. As for needing a pacer.... pump the brakes. No cardiologist is going to suggest a pacer from this one episode. The patient would need to wear a portable telemetry monitor at the least. There would also be a lot of other steps/tests taken prior to authorizing, or suggesting a pace maker.

I had an ECG at my EP's office yesterday, took home a copy only to read it and it said, "Probabal Lateral Myocardial Infarction of Indeterminate Age." My doctor never mentioned it, and still hasn't returned my call about it. May I send it to you to review? It somewhat matches what you describe here, especially in I and aVL.

Great Video..Will an axis deviation change if the first ECG was done supine with the arms and legs used correctly as limb leads then weeks later a second EKG done in a chair using only the shoulders and bottom torso for limbs leads? First ECG (done supine) PRT 012 -19 009 degrees..2nd ECG (in Chair) PRT 000 200 173 degrees. Thank you!

Oh my gosh! and it turns out you DO have a video on prolonged QT. My chart is a copy so I don't have the benefit of those little boxes, but your video made clear that the problem in my case is a prolonged repolarization. The machine gave my QRS at 86, but you can also see it clearly without the boxes. The repolarization phase looks stretched out compared to previous ones. My QTc was almost 500, so I consider myself lucky since they did give me the QT-prolonging medication. Ironically, my prolonged QT is from cancer medication, and I take zofran as well. Did not know it also did the same thing.

I am just a normal old joe with an EKG from an ED visit that they never had confirmed by a cardiologist, but given that I was thyrotoxic at the time, and given what happened when I had thyroid storm years ago, I am worried about my EKG and wish they would have looked at it more thoroughly. The Ed doc said the EKG was "reassuring" but I'm not reassured. I'm going to look up the other stuff the machine spit out in your videos. My mom has been found to have enlarged left atrium. She was having a medicine Clopilet which is a blood thinner to mitigate the risk of clotting. Now she consulted 2 doctors and both have suggested her to stop taking it. But she is still taking it because without taking it she is feeling suffocation and breathlessness.
